Charging Clock collects no data. The app has no internet access, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party services.
Data collection
- No personal information is collected, stored, or shared.
- No usage or diagnostic data is collected.
- The app does not request the internet permission and cannot transmit anything off your device.
What the app does
Charging Clock toggles the Samsung Always On Display setting when your phone is plugged in or unplugged. To do this it uses:
- Modify system settings — to switch Always On Display on and off. Nothing else is changed.
- Foreground service — to keep listening for charger connect/disconnect events while the app is in the background. This is the persistent notification you see.
Your on/off preference is stored locally on your device and nowhere else. Uninstalling the app removes it.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address.
